Faculties |
| For the faculty in department of ECE, teaching is more passionate than profession. Our ultimate aim is, not only to create well educated students but also to train them to acquire awareness about the changing world of scenario in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department has a strong team of faculty members who are well qualified and experienced in the area of VLSI, DSP, Embedded System and related software and hardware tools. |
Member in Professional Bodies |
| All the faculties of this department are the members of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the activities from ISTE are conducted for outgoing students |
Industrial Visit |
| As a part of association activities, the Final year and Pre-final year students are encouraged to go for industrial visit within the state and out of state. This industrial visit helps the students to acquire knowledge in recent trends to update themselves so as to meet the new challenges of global technology and also helps them to choose their project work. |
Industrial / In-Plant Training |
| Industrial and In-Plant training is being made compulsory for second and third year students during summer vacations. This not only helps the students in acquiring knowledge about new technologies but also acts as an insight into management aspects. Students are expected to undergo training for a period ranging from 15 days to 1 month in an industry and submit a detailed report for evaluation after completion of their training. |
PROJECT |
| As per the University regulation, the UG students have to submit a project work in the final year. Four students form a group and each group is guided by an internal staff. The students are allowed to do the project work in companies also. They are allowed to approach any sponsored project that has innovative ideas. The students are motivated and stream lined. The second and third year students are encouraged to undertake mini project work. Students get the experience in designing and fabricating their own electronic circuits. This makes students attain better knowledge in understanding the functioning of various electronic components and circuits. |
Library |
| Library is functioning with large number of volumes to cater the needs of the department staff and students. |
Association |
| The Association of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is a forum where students are encouraged to exhibit their maximum talents in co-curricular activities like Debate, Technical Quiz, Paper presentation, Group Discussion, Mock Interviews, Aptitude tests etc at regular intervals. Through these activities, the students get confidence to face interviews in the future. Eminent personalities in their field of specialization are invited to deliver guest lecturers regularly for the benefit of students. |
