Department of Civil Engineering

About the Department

The Civil Engineering Department was started in 2009 with the primary objective to disseminate the knowledge above latest technologies in Civil Engineering to the students so that they cater the demand of builders/contractors and construction industry in and around the institution as well as to the needs of the country and abroad.

Mission

To inculcate knowledge through laboratory and field study, apart from effective teaching-learning process. To synergize the efforts of both students and staff to meet the ever-growing construction-needs of the industry. To encourage the students to undertake research and consultancy works.

Vision

Our Department is committed to provide our students with the latest learning techniques and modern materials-knowledge in all sectors to make them globally recognizable Civil Engineers A thorough knowledge of the physical sciences, math, and engineering is developed during the first two years followed by the civil engineering classes and capped by a senior design course in which teams of students work on real engineering projects.
